Nestled in the inner-city suburb of Prahran, this light-well maximises light and connectivity with the interior of the house. A compact site set between a home and a garage, the challenge was to retain a sense of openness that could offer a useful and interesting second living area.
The result is a great example of how a small, unused space can be transformed into something special.
Material pallets include glazed bricks, rough sawn timber, beautiful Italian Granite paving and plantings of textilis Gracilis.
