Rather than competing with the bold architectural forms, the garden softens them through restrained materiality, layered planting and a composition that appears to have evolved naturally over time. The arrival experience unfolds along a winding compacted toppings driveway, leading through sculptural planting and mature cloud-pruned olive trees before revealing a series of carefully defined outdoor rooms. Burnished concrete floating steps and seating are balanced by the warmth of timber, tumbled cobblestones and richly textured planting, creating a refined yet relaxed landscape palette. Throughout the garden, clipped hedging, ornamental grasses and mixed perennial plantings provide year-round structure, movement and seasonal interest while blending into the surrounding rural character. Spaces for gathering and everyday living are woven seamlessly into the landscape, including a productive garden, pergola, outdoor dining area with pizza oven, and an infinity-edge pool and spa enclosed by a custom curved weathering steel fence that quietly recedes into the setting.
